About Me

I was a stay at home mom for 15 years before going to the University of Arizona. My children were teenagers by the time I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education with my major in English and minor in Spanish.

My first year of teaching was at one of the top high schools in Tucson, Arizona. I discovered the students who touched my heart the most were those struggling with English as their second language or students who were just plain struggling in the traditional system.  The traditional system wouldn't let me focus on those students who needed me most, so I left education for 3 years rather than watch these students fall further and further behind or just drop out of school all together.

During that time I began my Master's degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Global Management. It was then I saw an ad for a charter school just starting up. This was my niche! The charter school movement tended to attract students who were not doing well in the traditional school system. So many students were struggling because English was not their first language. I made it my mission to help them succeed and I saw so many successes that it warmed my heart because I knew I made a difference for them. I was an educator in the United States for more than 15 years and I loved it.

Now I am in Germany and I want to make a difference for your student!
